Since I’m nearly done editing the series, I’m not accepting any more beta readers. But who knows? There may be other beta teams in the future!
I began the first draft of The Rebels’ Daughter when I was nine, and finished the book when I was twelve. I wrote the other six books when I was thirteen! I’ve spent the rest of my teen years editing and publishing them. I rewrote a large portion of the last four books, but I didn’t change anything major about the plot or the characters—it’s still the same story my younger self wrote!
The Freedom Through Fire Saga is upper-middle-grade fiction—so I recommend it for readers aged 10 – 15. The FTF Saga is clean, but it does contain some violence, and in later books, discussions about PTSD and dating, which I’ve done my best to make age-appropriate. If concerned, parents can preview the book first.
There are a couple characters who date in later books, but all relationships are handled with healthy boundaries and are age-appropriate. There are also no love triangles (though the fandom does love creating character “ships” 😂). If concerned, parents can preview the book first.
